We really enjoyed the hospitality of host and beauty of Dubrovnik, Hvala gospoÄi i njezinim kÄerima,The facility is located on a residential hill with street access, but also with lovely narrow stair passages towards the Gruž district, There was a very small shop almost sharing the entrance with the facility, You could see the locals riding their scooters in the neighborhood, It didn',t have this posh vibe which was characteristic for the Old Town district, We very enjoyed this kind of setting,\r\n\r\nThe apartment had a terrace oriented to the north, You could see Mt, SrÄ and the northern hill where Adriatic Domestic Road goes through, The facilities such as cable car station and Homeland War Museum were clearly seen, The room had quite enough space, everything was clean,\r\n\r\nA central crossroads in the city is located 200m from the apartment, This junction is in the middle between Gruž, Lapad and Old Town district, It was 20 minutes of walk to the Old Town and port in the Gruž, Gruž has high concentration of bigger shops, banks, hairdressers, affordable restaurants etc, It was good to go there for groceries and some cheap coffee ,) Ships to the Elaphite Islands start their way from the Gruž port, We took a 1-day trip to the Islands and consider it a must-be experience,\r\n\r\nBellevue beach is 200m from the facility, but we didn',t like it since it was too posh, We liked the Uvala Beach in Lapad district which is 1 km from the apartment, There starts a promenade on the perimeter of the Babin Kuk peninsula, It has nice vibe and some restaurants with beautiful views, View of TuÄman',s Bridge from the trail on the NE part of Babin Kuk was also astounding,\r\n\r\nThe house owner was very hospitable and she gave us a homemade wine as a gift, She didn',t speak good English, but her 2 daughters were co-responsible for the facility (from whom 1 of them lives in Zagreb and assisted via phone/,WhatsApp and the other one who lives in the facility) so they helped a lot, Also a friend-family of the owner rented a room in the facility and they were very nice and hospitable,

We hebben echt genoten van de gastvrijheid van de gastheer en de schoonheid van Dubrovnik, Hvala gospoÄi i njezinim kÄerima, De faciliteit is gelegen op een residentiële heuvel met toegang tot de straat, maar ook met mooie smalle trappen naar de wijk Gruž, Er was een heel klein winkeltje dat bijna de ingang deelde met de faciliteit, Je kon de lokale bevolking op hun scooters in de buurt zien rijden, Het had niet die chique sfeer die kenmerkend is voor de oude binnenstad, We hebben erg genoten van dit soort omgeving,\r\n\r\nHet appartement had een terras op het noorden, Je kon Mt, SrÄ en de noordelijke heuvel zien waar de Adriatische Binnenweg doorheen gaat, De faciliteiten zoals het kabelbaanstation en het Homeland War Museum waren duidelijk te zien, De kamer had voldoende ruimte, alles was schoon,\r\n\r\nEen centraal kruispunt in de stad bevindt zich op 200 m van het appartement, Deze kruising ligt in het midden tussen Gruž, Lapad en de oude binnenstad, Het was 20 minuten lopen naar de oude stad en de haven in Gruž, Gruž heeft een hoge concentratie van grotere winkels, banken, kappers, betaalbare restaurants etc., Het was leuk om daarheen te gaan voor boodschappen en wat goedkope koffie,) Schepen naar de Elafieten vertrekken vanuit de haven van Gruž, We hebben een dagtocht naar de eilanden gemaakt en beschouwen het als een must-be ervaring,\r\n\r\nHet Bellevue-strand ligt op 200 meter van de faciliteit, maar we vonden het niet leuk omdat het te chique was, We vonden het Uvala-strand in het district Lapad leuk, dat op 1 km van het appartement ligt, Er begint een promenade aan de rand van het schiereiland Babin Kuk, Het heeft een leuke sfeer en enkele restaurants met een prachtig uitzicht, Het uitzicht op de TuÄman's-brug vanaf het pad op het noordoostelijke deel van Babin Kuk was ook verbazingwekkend,\r\n\r\nDe huiseigenaar was erg gastvrij en ze gaf ons een zelfgemaakte wijn als een geschenk, Ze sprak geen goed Engels, maar haar 2 dochters waren medeverantwoordelijk voor de voorziening (waarvan 1 in Zagreb woont en via telefoon en WhatsApp hielp en de andere die in de voorziening woont), dus ze hielpen veel, Ook een vriend-familie van de eigenaar huurde een kamer in de voorziening en ze waren erg aardig en gastvrij,
