Villa in Ampus met Uitzicht en Zwembad

The location is a unique place with stunning views in the middle of nature. It´s relatively close to beautiful villages around, markets and wineries. 1h to the sea, 1h to Verdon, perfect for biking, hiking and swimming. We loved the different places to hang out and the setup of the facility. Everybody can find his own preferred calm place, enjoy the view or relax / cook / eat / drink within the group. Kitchen was well equipped, Pool clean, modern bathrooms, natural stone floor, furniture sufficient, charming lighting by night. We definetely intend to come back! Playing chess with a cigar, a glass of wine and the view to Draguigan - what do you need more? Room for improvement we see on the number of parasols (only 1-2 at the pool for 10 deck chairs, no other shade), women missed a hairdryer and - normal in nature - some wasps, moskitos, lot of ants and further unknown animal by night ;-).

De locatie is een unieke plek met een prachtig uitzicht midden in de natuur. Het ligt relatief dicht bij prachtige dorpjes, markten en wijngaarden. 1 uur naar de zee, 1 uur naar de Verdon, perfect om te fietsen, wandelen en zwemmen. We waren dol op de verschillende plekken om te vertoeven en de indeling van de accommodatie. Iedereen kan zijn eigen favoriete rustige plek vinden, genieten van het uitzicht of ontspannen/koken/eten/drinken met de groep. De keuken was goed uitgerust, het zwembad schoon, moderne badkamers, een natuurstenen vloer, voldoende meubilair en 's avonds sfeervolle verlichting. We zijn zeker van plan om terug te komen! Schaken met een sigaar, een glas wijn en het uitzicht op Draguigan - wat heb je nog meer nodig? We zien ruimte voor verbetering wat betreft het aantal parasols (slechts 1-2 bij het zwembad voor 10 ligstoelen, geen andere schaduw), vrouwen misten een föhn en - zoals gebruikelijk in de natuur - wat wespen, muggen, veel mieren en nog meer onbekende dieren 's nachts ;-).

We hade a pleasant stay in the house. The house and location are fantastic. Spacious, big house and lots of tranquility. However we had a bit of issues with the bed-and bath linnen. We informed the host immediately that the linnen was not smelling fresh, and that there was a scent of dogs in the house and the linnen. The host told us this was impossible, although we found several proof in the house (toys, damage of dogs). My wife washed and dried all of the towels again, eventhough we paid for it. Cleaning was for 85% ok, but there were some parts that could have been cleaned a bit more, but it might be our standards. Unfortunatelly we informed the host about this, and no compensation or appologies were offered. But nevertheless we would certainly go back, but this time without paying for towels and linnen.
